Getting Their Green Belts

Very cool. It's amazing how well-disciplined these kids are. What's the significance of the white line through the belts?

Hi Zack,
The white line is an indicator that the student is a child. White indicates an innocence or a tabula rasa upon which life will write its story. The green indicates that the student is, at least in the Seido system, at the 4th kyu or level.
